Fairchild opens early for Members each Tuesday at 7:00 a.m. Members can check-in at the South Entrance Gate. Preparing for Your Visit. Here are a few tips to make your visit to Fairchild more memorable. There is a lot to do during your visit; you should allow three hours or more if you plan to enjoy the entire Garden.
Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is an 83-acre (34 ha) botanic garden with extensive collections of rare tropical plants including palms, cycads, flowering trees, and vines. It is located in the city of Coral Gables, Miami-Dade County, just south of Miami, surrounded at the north and west by Matheson Hammock Park.
