"Fairchild has a 90 minute free tour by outstanding guides on a 12- seater trolleys. Excellent for those who can't walk far. Beautiful greenery. Many lizards, geckos, butterflies. Here and the beautiful leafy Coral Gables area is definitely worth a visit for tourists."

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is an 83-acre (34 ha) botanic garden with extensive collections of rare tropical plants including palms, cycads, flowering trees, and vines. It is located in the city of Coral Gables, Miami-Dade County, just south of Miami, surrounded at the north and west by Matheson Hammock Park.

This great lush botanical garden is a great place to spend a Saturday. The quality of the free tours is excellent. For the admission entrance, you can get a free tour on the tram and walking tours with knowledgeable volunteers.
