16 paź 2018 · In my recent installation, I got FSX installed and activated then installed Acceleration and then got all kinds of error codes. After doing the reset program again and then going into the registry and fixing the PartMgr, Acceleration still would not activate so did a REPAIR of FSX first.

20 gru 2014 · The problem with simconnect which we all have is because we have had FSX DVD installed on the system earlier. Here is what works for me: 1) Uninstall all copies of FSX (Steam and DVD). 2) Delete all folders associated with FSX (both editions) in Documents and steam folder.
I first had the DLL waterfall error which I fixed by installing the API demo. Then when I Installed version 5 of FTNoir, SimConnect.ini was not in the settings folder. So I had to install version 4, which had SimConnect.ini.
30 wrz 2022 · ERROR CODE 1-80004005 comes up on starting FSX. Yes to online query , it starts up, but only gives you the trial version. To Fix, you have to change the registry.
10 lip 2023 · If you elect to do the reinstall, then do yourself a favor and create a folder, for instance called D:\FSX, and install into that. Even if you turn UAC off, the \Program Files folders are still protected folders.
5 cze 2016 · All one need do as far as regular boxed FSX is concerned is to add the Modify permission to the users group on the installed to folder, since it is simply the missing permission that creates the problem for software written pre-Vista that ignored the security of the location.
19 sie 2020 · I got it to work… FaceTrackNoir and my xbox controller. If anyone was wondering, just make sure you don’t install vJoy and if you have, just uninstall and update your HID-compliant gaming control device driver to get rid of the virtual controller.
