The seller completes the "Bill of Sale," which is FAA Form 8050-2, available for download on FAA's web site, or from AOPA (800/872-2672), most FAA FSDO offices, or a dealer at your nearest airport). The Bill of Sale must be filled out in duplicate (two originals).
1 gru 1999 · The FAA has a standard Aircraft Bill of Sale Form (AC Form 8050-2) for anyone who wants to use it. Its use is not mandatory. Still, it is much more convenient and easier to use this Bill of Sale form than to make your own.
The name of the purchaser must be identical to the name of the applicant shown on the Aircraft Registration Application, AC Form 8050-1. When a trade name is shown as the purchaser or seller, the name of the individual owner or co-owners must be shown along with the trade name.
