I just started playing OSRS again after years, and the nostalgia is awesome. I've gotten to a point where I want to upgrade some of my stuff since my attack is nearly 30, but I don't have access to the grand exchange. What's the fastest way to get to 10 quest points so I can buy some basic stuff?
I'd suggest looking up quest rewards. And start doing the easy-medium quest that give good xp rewards. Slayer and work on 65 strength and attack to unlock warriors guild to get you a dragon defender.

A lot of skills are tedious/slow early on, and you can get the levels faster by questing. F2P quest rewards are pretty minimal, but the members quests are the best way to get your stats into the 30s and 40s while unlocking much of the better gear and content.
