5 gru 2012 · I'm playing with the thought of getting a turbo diesel 4x4 ford as I find myself towing more and more. I just pulled 9000lbs 1600 miles cross country and was averaging 9mpg with my 2010 F150 4x4. My question is, what should I expect with a F250 4x4 turbo diesel from, say, 04+?
17 paź 2020 · I was wondering what other F150 owners are getting for MPG while towing similar loads. The truck pull the camper very nice and did not struggle at all. Transmission temperatures stayed around 200. I do have an MPT Towing tune and I was very impressed with how well it did.

18 cze 2023 · You can get HDPP with a 5.0 now. That wasn't the case a few years ago. So if you want maximum payload in (for example) a 2016 F150 then that's going to put you into a 3.5. If HDPP isn't needed, then 5.0's and 3.5's about equal. 3.5's tow faster up hill, 5.0's tow better down hill.
