23 paź 2018 · It's unlikely that the titled number is the engine number, as engine numbers are not typically used for vehicle identification. It's possible that the VIN number may have been altered or removed at some point, which could explain the discrepancy between the title and the tag.

I would recommend you use an oil that still contains ZDDP, since it is beneficial to older engines. The new spec " green, ecologically friendly" car oils don't have it any more. Many of the "truck" oils still do have it.
24 maj 2016 · The serial # for your other engine may have been machined off during a rebuild. If the engine is very early, you might find it on the top edge of block, just in front of the oil fill tube, hidden behind the oil filter canister...if equipped.
