25 paź 2018 · C was originally developed in the early 1970s by Dennis Ritchie at Bell Labs to write the UNIX operating system. Previous languages like FORTRAN and B were insufficient for this task. Ritchie developed C between 1971-1973 to create a language that was better suited to writing UNIX.
