Existing home sales in the US rose by 3.5% from the previous month to a seasonally adjusted annualized rate of 3.96 million in October of 2024, rebounding from the 14-year low of 3.83 million in the prior month, and slightly ahead of market expectations of 3.93 million. Sales were higher in all four regions of the country.
