16 lis 2014 · I used to use Krylon high heat silver on my Model "A" exhaust manifold and pipe with very good success. I never had a burn off problem but every year I did have to re-do it because of slight rusting. The high heat black works well too but you have to base it with high heat silver or it will flake off.

2 wrz 2002 · Personally I have had real good luck with VHT High Temp Exhaust Paint. As an earlier post explained, the secret to getting good results is in the preparation. If you don't have access to a bead blaster, clean the manifolds completely with a wire brush and maybe course sandpaper on real bad spots.
