21 lut 2013 · If you make the vertical scale on your chart (using format axis) run from 0.0001 (say) then a value that Excel thinks is zero will not be plotted. Your axis in the chart will still look like it runs from zero upwards.

This is a tedious process as we use this template for many instances. Is there a way to tell Excel to ignore cells that have a zero value even if it is the output of a function?

one approach to make it dynamic is to use named formula/range/cell. Instead of graphing A3:A1000 as your Series 1 Y values, you could assign A3:A1000 to the named range Series_1_Y. Edit your data for the graph and then edit the series and use the named range instead. You can define names here:
28 gru 2018 · The column is 960 data points long. Problem is that the chart shows a flat line at zero. Somehow my data is not read as values but zeros only. If I try to go right click on the chart and Select Data -> Edit Series 1 -> I see a pop-up with 3 selections: Series Name: I left this empty.
