18 sty 2023 · Whenever I drop new data into a workbook and change formatting, add formulas, or add a new sheet, all existing formulas on different sheets are deleted and replaced with hardcoded values when I view the cell.
For .CSVs that just need minor edits like changing a single value or two, I've honestly found that it is sometimes just easier to open the file with a text editor like Notepad/Notepad++/Sublime and then manually make those changes.

In Trust Center window, on left side, click Protected View then on right side untick Enable Protected View for files originating from the Internet. Now my #REF! problem solved. Share. 18 paź 2022 · This has been happening to me and other people who are using Excel. A formula is entered in and for me after I press enter it will change the formula to the answer. Example, I will enter in =A1/B2 and when I press enter, it will change what is in the cell and put .5. The formula is now gone.
