28 lut 2019 · I'm using formulas referencing to files in the same folder/location but still get the #Value Error, the formula will only work when source file is open. any ideas on what is causing this and how to fix it?

12 lut 2014 · There are 2 possible things: Make sure the format of the cell is not 'Text'. If it is, change to something else, such as 'General' and then double click in the formula bar and press enter. Make sure that 'Show Formulas' is OFF. You can find the option under the tab 'Formulas'. Otherwise, you can use Ctrl + `.
8 sie 2013 · As soon as you open Data Saved 08.09.2013 then A.xls will realize that the data does not exist anymore and lose it. The work around for this is to make sure that you update the links in the formula. This should solve it all.
In Excel 97-2003, the worksheet size is only 256 columns by 65,536 rows. Formula references to data in cells outside of this column and row limit are adjusted and may not display correctly.

Press the equal sign (=). Click on the source sheet (Jan Price). Select the cell with data you want to use. We selected cell B5. The formula bar is updated. Press Enter.
