23 mar 2021 · CTRL SHIFT ENTER does not insert the curly braces and a spill error is returned. Following this, if you then re-edit the cell and press CTRL SHIFT ENTER a second time, it will insert the curly braces and work on the one cell but will not update the column formula.

11 lut 2021 · When pressing CTRL SHIFT ENTER to push an array formula into a table column, it no longer works. On the first attempt, it places the formula without curly braces and propagates it to the whole column.
30 sty 2017 · I'm trying to calculate an array formula in Excel using ctrl+shift+enter and it does nothing. The formula won't run... nothing happens, the cursor remains at the end of the formula without being entered. I've tried running a simple one in a new spreadsheet and the same thing happens.
10 lis 2017 · The result is 0. This means that the Criteria parameter does not accept array constants (or other arrays). You can do what Scott did in the other answer or you can continue using Count If, but in another way: {=COUNT(IF($B$1:$B$4={"a","b","c","d"},1))}
26 wrz 2020 · The formula in cell b123 is not an array ( CSE ) formula, otherwise Excel must enclose formula with { } braces/curly brackets. Please upload the file you are using and let us examine it. Once move to b123 press F2 and hit Ctrl+Shift+Enter simultaneously.
8 gru 2012 · First of all: I know how to use array formulas. But on this particular PC, the CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER doesn't work! When I'm using it, it only makes the array formula in the first cell of the array! (I have remembered to mark all cells/the whole range) I have googled a lot trying to solve this problem.
Specifically the Ctrl+Shift+Enter sequence does not get {} around the formulas. I highlight cells C2:C4. before I can press the Enter key, the column C is highlited and the answer 11000 is in cell C2 and nothing in cells C3 or C4. There are no {} in any cells.
