If you have a formula that you would like to copy to an entire column in Excel, there is a very easy and fast way of doing this, by using “autofill” which is referred to as “fill down” when being used to apply formulas to a column.
Click the cell where you want to paste the formula. If that cell is on another worksheet, go to that worksheet and click the cell you want. To paste the formula with its formatting, on the Home tab, click Paste or press ⌘ + V. For other formula paste options, click the arrow below Paste.
