  1. 9 maj 2022 · I have a spreadsheet that converts the date in one cell to a year in another. I want to pull the formula down so that it automatically shows the date in columns A and B if there is a date in column C; however, I do not want it to say 1900 on blank cells.

  3. 7 mar 2022 · When the cell in sheet 2 is empty, "1/0/1900" is of course displayed in sheet 1. But I need to hide or suppress the "1/0/1900" until such time that an actual date is put into the cell in sheet 2. How do I do this?

  4. For a reason I can't find, my appropriate date of 12/31/16 in a date-defined cell shows as 1/0/1900. I have to put a single quote before for it to look correct, but then I have to treat it as text in formulas, or enter it as =date(2016,12,31).

  7. Since the cells you are reading are blank, you get a value of 0, which is why the date shows as it does. To fix that, you can check the return for blanks, though I'm not sure why you are using INDEX/MATCH when VLOOKUP will work:
