Dear friends in Christ, in the name of Jesus, we pause today to join in prayer for peace and justice in our communities. We gather with troubled hearts, sorrowed by the sins of racism, hatred, violence, and indifference, and we grieve for those who have been victims of injustice.

Student 1: The saints followed the Word of God in all they did. They lived the command of Jesus to love God and love others. All of us are called to be saints.
