This quest brought with it ability to raise tradeskills from the then current cap of 300 to 350 (250 for fishing) through levels, Alternate Advancement and learning unique recipes. It is completely different than the approach for raising your skills to 300.

Basic Guide for raising research to 350. As with all trade skills from 301 to 350, your journey starts with purchasing Alternate Advancement Points. You will need to earn an additional 425 AA points and have a minimum level of 105 to take your skill all the way to 350.
14 maj 2012 · This applies to each and every tradeskill, all 7 primary ones, research, and all the race/class restricted tradeskills. Upon gaining 50 skill go to the West Freeport Newbie Yard, and find the tradeskill NPC's under one of the tents.
5 gru 2020 · In each tradeskill you take to 350, there are generally 5-10 items that require quite a bit of farming or foraging and some items are required for multiple tradeskills in bulk. I’m not worried about the 1 off items as that would be really tough but a list that says the item, best zone / npc to farm and approx quantity.
