Launched in 2014, the RASFF consumers' portal provides practical and timely information drawn from the RASFF on consumer recall notices and public warnings issued by food safety authorities and business operators.
Use of email. A national intranet or integrated IT system may provide equal features for monitoring transmission of the notification. Also, it is possible that the offered functionality in iRASFF does not entirely cover the different levels for a member of the network. In such cases, email may be used for transmission.
