Downstairs exhibits tell the story of the town and its relationship to the railroad. An upstairs gallery offers changing exhibits. Visitors can look out the upstairs windows and watch trains switching in a still active rail yard. Home to the “Hiwassee River Rail Adventure,” a train excursion ticket office is also located in the building.

15 cze 2019 · The Etowah Depot Museum is a sixteen room, two story railroad station. Built by the L&N Railroad in 1906, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Depot houses a history museum, art gallery, train excursion ticket office, visitor information area, gift shop, and more.
The Railroad Museum is Free! If you want to go on a rail trip, you can buy the tickets at the station or online in which case print the tickets before you come. It will save lining up and you don't want to hand over money without some sort of receipt.
