In-game setting are in the SETTINGS -> Addons Settings -> LoreBooks. You can also choose what icons you want to use, which kind of book to display on map filters or in options and much more. Please try it yourself and let me know your thoughts. All ideas how to improve this addon are welcome.

The (i) icon's tooltip, if you move the mouse over it in the addon manager, will show you the missing dependencies. 4th: Check if the dependencies are all UPDATED and at the newest versions. Some addons not only specify a dependency but they tell the addon that they need the dependency at version >4.x e.g.
In both skyshards and lorebooks addons, some icons seem to be missing (as on the screen shots). I can see the lorebooks (icons in setting are shown), but not the eidetic memories (no icons shown, whatever srolling choice I make on the right...).

It's currently broken. If you check the comments on the addon page there's a fix for it, you have to change three lines of code to get it to work. I've sone this and it's working fine.
