5 paź 2024 · Non-septic patients with UTI, cUTI, or pyelonephritis do not need empiric carbapenem coverage according to the most recent IDSA guidelines. In septic or non-urinary tract ESBL-E infection, cover with IV carbapenems as opposed to higher-generation cephalosporins.
