16 lut 2022 · Every time I try to download a file, (document, photo, anything) I get a message "Couldn't Download Virus Scan Failed). I never had this problem until I got Windows 11. I have changed my internet security, turned off Windows Firewall and got rid of all virus scan programs. Noting has helped.

The majority of answers refer to a "rootkit" infection in the registry and resulting screwup in the Windows Defender program.
