8 kwi 2019 · My iPhone 7 Plus got stuck in recovery mode, where the iTunes logo pops up: so I do the process to fix it. Problems are, when I press update, my serial number for my iPhone disappears. Nothing loads for an hour or moves.
Then i noticed that the serial number of the iPad is shown as N/A in iTunes, and i think this is why it cant boot, or be recognized when not in DFU mode. Anyone has some clue on this? if its hardware or software problem, and if there's a way to fix it.

5 cze 2015 · Antivirus disabled. iTunes recognises iPad2 but serial number n/a. Suggests restore so agree and iPad shows apple logo and progress bar. Progress bar does not progress and iTunes says "Waiting for iPad".

20 lut 2024 · It worked. I was supposed to select the correct COM port, and change the SN, but I chose the wrong port. So the SN didn't change, but when the device was rebooting, it just starting bootlooping. I can still enter recovery and dfu.
