Instead of free flight, we now use radio control. We designed a big solid EPP fuselage that is easy to to build and won't crush and acts like a shock absorber to protect the rest of the plane. We set the goal when we started this project to keep the plane inexpensive, simple to build and easy to fly.
The battery and radio are mounted deep in the EPP foam wing which acts as a shock absorber to protect them. The Assassin will bounce off pavement and make brutal hard hits during combat and keep on flying.
