EB Research Partnership is the largest 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to funding research aimed at treating and ultimately curing Epidermolysis Bullosa, a group of devastating and life-threatening skin disorders that affect children from birth.
Epidermolysis Bullosa is an incurable, progressive, debilitating and very painful genetic skin condition which causes internal and external blisters at the slightest friction. With your help we can research treatments and find the cure, giving EB children the chance to live a life free from excruciating pain – a life like ours.
DEBRA is a national charity and patient support organisation for people living with the rare, extremely painful, genetic skin blistering condition, Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) also known as ‘Butterfly Skin’. EB causes the skin to become very fragile and tear or blister at the slightest touch.
what is epidermolysis bullosa? EB is a group of genetic disorders characterized by blister formation after minor trauma to the skin. This family of disorders range in severity from mild to the severely disabling and life-threatening diseases of the skin.
