1 mar 2021 · Purpose of the Book of Revelation. The book of Revelation was originally written as a letter to the seven churches in the Roman Province of Asia (Rev. 1:4). Christ commissioned John to write these words into a scroll and send them to the seven churches (Rev. 1:11).
Chapter One. The Revelation of Jesus Christ begins with a clear statement of origin and purpose. Given to Jesus by God to show His servants things which must soon take place, it is designed to bless those who read, hear and keep the words of the prophecy (1-3).
