To determine the price of spell levels, I came up with a base cost of 30 gp - this would be the cost of a spell scroll for a cantrip (plus some rarity tax and attunement tax, but see Part 1 for information on that). That base cost is then multiplied by the sum of each spell level + 1.
But how should that apply for items that already cost a significant portion of the magical item cost, such as Mithral or Adamantine (uncommon) armors? both Half and Full Plate armor already exceed that 500gp magical cost, and some others come close to the line (Breastplate at 400gp, for example).

25 maj 2021 · A pair of winged boots, for example, are Uncommon and thus have a value of 101 – 500 gp, while a potion of flying (that can only be used once!) is Very Rare and thus has a value of 2,500 – 25,000 gp (the price of a consumable magic item is half that of a permanent magic item).
Prices you can use for magic items if you want them to be buyable or sellable in your game.
