Foreigners who reside in Singapore and wish to change their names through deed polls can do so by following the established legal procedures. Similar to Singapore citizens and permanent residents, foreigners must meet the necessary requirements and adhere to the prescribed process for name change.
You are required to effect your name change through a deed poll/baptism or religious certificate/marriage certificate. Your new name must be reflected in your foreign passport. For IC holders, you are required to replace your blue IC reflecting the new name.
