OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS • Assemble the contact points, spacer and extension to the instrument according to the diameter to be measured. Within the range of the tool, 0.05mm increments of measure can be made by use of the appropriate spacers. Never use tools when assembling the set. MEASUREMENT EXAMPLE 1 - METRIC/ENGLISH
Mitutoyo Dial Bore Gauge Replacement Parts. Keep your Mitutoyo (MMCB-06) Dial Bore Gauge complete with these replacement parts from Goodson. Choose from an assortment of spacers for anvils 2" and larger, a replacement dial indicator, a replacement lens and replacement dial cover.
Assemble the dial bore gauge with selected parts as shown in fig.1, and fig.2. Ensure all components are clean before using the supplied spanner to fit the required anvil arrangement.
1. Loosen the clamp screw, remove clamp and spacer from shaft. (Figure: 5) 2. Follow the “Assembly” procedure to mount the indicator and secure with the clamp. 3. Mount the protective cover to the indicator and attach with the 2 mounting screws. (Figure: 6) Insert the measurement head of the bore gauge into the object to measure.

Choose the proper head, anvil length, washer (spacer) and extension combination to match the bore size to be measured. For example, to measure 3.15 inches install the number 6 anvil and washer numbers 2 and 3.
