Basically, the game does not pick up my 360 controller. It only detects mouse and keyboard inputs. I've tried multiple things listed here already, and the issue still persists.

10 lis 2023 · Anyone else have this issue? The game seems to not detect my controller. I'm using a wireless Xbox One Gamepad if you're wondering. I've tried turning it on before starting up the game. Using big picture mode, and enabling steam input which ironically has the official game layout loaded up.
This is the only game I own that I cannot get my XBOX One controller to work for. It simply doesn't detect it. I've checked that my drivers are updated and verified that it's still working for Valkyria Chronicles. Anyone else having similar issues?
I recently got my first PC that can run games. I passed up a sale on this game for Xbox planning to get it on PC, but now my computer's here and I'm surprised that there is no controller support.

The Pillars of Eternity games have controller support. Not sure how good it is but I know they have it. Disco Elysium has pretty good controller support.
As like sooooo many, I Need controller support so I can play on Hand-Held PC (Like Onexplayer, Ayaneo, etc). Games like V-Rising have No controller support & the Only option I have seen posted is using Xpadder or other "Keyboard to Controller converting" software.
