I'm now a "second-hand puzzler" and getting a poor quality brand doesn't hurt that much anymore. I feel actually encouraged to try new brands. My negative experiences were single, brutal and personal events and doesn't necessarily represent other puzzlers experienced.
Since then, I've seen a lot of new posts, some with detailed reviews and strong recommendations, so it's time for an update. Since the thread is based on posts shared by puzzlers, the focus is on more affordable and popular custom made cardboard puzzles.

Piecing together stunning imagery or further mysteries to solve, there’s a wide world of puzzling to be explored—and in our opinion, it’s gone overlooked for far too long.
