14 lis 2008 · Not really. I've always said that if you want active pickups, get EMG and do the 18 volt mod to them. If you want passive pickups, then don't buy EMGs.

20 gru 2000 · I put EMG Select pups in my Yamaha RBX250 (first bass) and they were a definete improvement on the stock pickups. But they're still pretty far from the real deal EMG pickups. They were cheap though.
