I noticed a steady breeze coming through the inserts vents. I pulled it out and tried to locate any drafty areas in that unfinished section, but couldn’t detect anything other than ‘the whole area felt cold’. What’s my best option here? Insulate the entire section? Get rid of the fireplace and drywall that wall?
16 wrz 2008 · There is 1" of water in the firebox! Water was also leaking from under the insert onto the hearth. Additionally, there is rust on top of the insert, coming from the pipe, as if water leaked from there, too.
Electric fireplace E1 error code indicates main circuit board issue, E2 indicates internal clock system issue, E3 indicates overheating & E5 indicate fireplace ventilation issue.
