A brief clip from Elmo's World appears in Sesame Street's 2002–2006 intro. In 2009, Elmo's World temporarily ceased production. It was replaced by Elmo: The Musical in 2012, and returned in 2017.

Guess what Elmo's thinking about today? Elmo opens his door and becomes buried under dozens of toy brass instruments. The opening montage features different instruments playing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star with a piano, a violin, toy recorders, kazoos, a children's choir singing "la, la..."
Elmo's World is a themed area of Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA. The area opened to the public on May 6, 2006. The 21,000 square-foot area within the park is themed, and named, after the Elmo's World segment on Sesame Street.
