24 wrz 2019 · The original Elite is now available to download for free via Frontier's website. The download on Frontier's site is a standalone one, so you won't need any existing PC launcher. According to the site, the download package includes a "disk image of the original Elite for BBC Micro B".

20 sie 2017 · Yes the free version of '84 Elite to download from the Frontier store is the BBC B version and it includes the BeebEm emulator to run it in and a scanned manual in PDF format. There's even a whole sub-forum here for discussing the original Elite and Frontier games if anyone hasn't found it...
