Stosowanie produktu ELIQUIS nie jest zalecane u pacjentów otrzymujących jednocześnie leczenie układowymi silnymi inhibitorami CYP3A4 i P-gp, takimi jak leki przeciwgrzybicze z grupy azoli (np. ketokonazol, itrakonazol, worykonazol i pozakonazol) oraz inhibitorami proteazy HIV (np. rytonawir).
W przypadku zmiany leczenia z produktu Eliquis na VKA, produkt Eliquis należy nadal podawać pacjentom przez co najmniej 2 dni po rozpoczęciu leczenia VKA. Po 2 dniach jednoczesnego podawania produktu Eliquis i VKA należy oznaczyć wskaźnik INR przed następnym zaplanowanym podaniem dawki produktu Eliquis.
