6 paź 2021 · Open-access 3D images of whole cells and tissues with combined finer resolution and larger sample size are enabled by advances in focused ion beam-scanning electron microscopy.
9 sty 2020 · When evaluating patients with suspected dementia at our institution, we perform routine MRI brain sequences, including diffusion-weighted imaging, to help identify infarcts and hypercellular lesions; susceptibility-weighted imaging to identify blood products; and T2-weighted fluid-attenuated inversion-recovery (FLAIR) imaging to identify edema ...
10 lip 2024 · 10 July 2024. Alzheimer’s plaques and tangles revealed by 3D microscopy. Amyloid-β peptides and tau proteins form filaments in the brain in Alzheimer’s disease. Using an electron microscopy...
In this narrative review, we provide a comprehensive overview of the literature on cognitive problems in non‐CNS cancer patients. We then focus on studies investigating the risk of cancer in patients with dementia, and the risk of dementia in patients with cancer in the general population.
Raman and fluorescence spectroscopies allow early-stage cancer diagnosis, by detecting circulating cancer cells or molecular cancer biomarkers in biofluids [13, 14]. In addition to these techniques, hyperspectral imaging (HSI) provides spatial and spectral information about the sample [ 15 ].
13 gru 2021 · Here, we analysed the spatial organization of patient-derived xenograft tissues generated from hepatoblastoma, the most frequent childhood liver tumour, by serial block-face scanning electron...
Light microscopy plays an essential role in clinical diagnosis and understanding the pathogenesis of cancer. Conventional bright-field microscope is used to visualize abnormality in tissue architecture and nuclear morphology, but often suffers from many limitations.
