5 maj 2010 · To break in a motor, run about 2-3 volts through it at low RPM with a motor break in function on some Chargers. They key is low RPM!! Your goal is to wear in the brushes so the contour matches that of the Comm. The more it wears in, the higher the amp draw should become.

Without an esc, your motor would just do nothing or go full throttle when you wanted to drive. Brushed motors are cheap but very ineffecient and lact power. The ESC's are also cheaper.
