Overall, flying with EL AL was a frustrating experience. They fell short in terms of service, comfort, and overall customer care. I wouldn't choose to fly with them again if other options are available, and if not - I will cancel the whole trip! Date of experience: 17 September 2024.

8 mar 2019 · The cancellation fee is normal ($270), but dealing with customer service was an absolute nightmare. Hours sitting and hearing the waiting song on the phone (drives me crazy), unfriendly people. Still trying to figure out how to get a receipt.
16 maj 2023 · We had refundable business class tickets for a trip from Newark to Tel Aviv. Due to health issues we had to cancel. We received refunds from hotels, tours and museums in days, but El Al said it would take 6-9 weeks. We did not receive our $6,000 refund in 9 weeks and called EL Al.
