Museum. Built by the Eisenhower Foundation with funds raised through public gifts, the museum building is constructed of Kansas limestone. Originally dedicated on Veterans Day in 1954, the museum was built to house the materials and objects related to Dwight D. Eisenhower's life.

11 lip 2024 · Highlights of the library include a chandelier – a gift from the people of Czechoslovakia in honor of his help in the war. The room also contains flags of all the NATO nations along with a life-sized statue of Eisenhower facing a group of soldiers before Normandy.
