The ice sports and event arena was opened and inaugurated on September 6, 2019. The arena was built to the Minergie standard for ice halls and has a very innovative ice technology system. The system is 100% ammonia-free with CO2, uses waste heat and thus has an excellent energy efficiency.

Die Lonza Arena ist eine Eissporthalle in der Schweizer Gemeinde Visp im Kanton Wallis. Sie ist die Heimspielstätte des Eishockeyclubs EHC Visp aus der Swiss League und bietet 5'150 Zuschauern Platz, davon 2'000 auf Sitzplätzen. Die Eishalle wird zudem zum Publikums-Eislauf genutzt.
