There are a few ways to get up and running with an eSIM. You'll need an internet connection to get set up. If you bought your new device from ee.co.uk and selected eSIM, turn on your new device and follow the on-screen prompts as part of set-up to download your eSIM.
You can transfer the eSIM on your current phone onto your new one via the Choose a Data Plan screen in Quick Start. If you're upgrading to an iPhone 13 or above, you can even convert your physical SIM into an eSIM. Check out our iPhone help pages to see this new step in Quick Start.

3 cze 2022 · eSIM capable smartphones, including iPhone and Android phones, allow customers to download the SIM directly on an unlocked phone connected to a Wi-Fi network. eSIM can be downloaded digitally by scanning a QR code or manually entering the eSIM activation code provided by the mobile operator.

eSIM seamless download is the easiest way to get your new phone up and running on EE. There’s no waiting for a SIM card or getting an eSIM QR code. With eSIM seamless download, all you need to do is switch on your phone and connect to a WiFi network. Follow the on-screen steps to download your eSIM. Then you’ll connect to the EE network.
