I was enthralled with the Warner Brothers gangster characterizations of the great Eddie G., whether straight forward bad guys or the many tongue in cheek characters.
Psychological dramas included Flesh and Fantasy (1943), Double Indemnity (1944), The Woman in the Window (1944) and Scarlet Street (1945). Another notable gangster role was in Key Largo (1948).
