Wildy slayer is unmatched, free supplies (blighted restores/mantas/anglers), almost every task is cannon-able or barrage-able, the new wildy weapons give crazy combat exp/hr, and the ammount of points earned per task allows you to skip very frequently, you can basically pick your tasks once you have a slayer point bank built up.
A common strategy is to do most of the damage to slayer monsters with a separate account, then "last hit" with the novelty account to get 50% of the slayer xp for the kill without raising other skill xp too much.
For some reason, I trained slayer on my 74 combat gmauler pure up to 72 slayer. No slayer helm is annoying, but exclusively getting tasks from Chaeldar or worse is a nightmare. If wouldn't recommend doing 'normal' slayer below 75 combat for Konar at least.
