Although it has taken some time to resolve our complaint, due to its complexity, I have nothing but praise for Di ( Team 17_B), who has handled it. We have been with EDF for many years, including the last 5 years on fixed EV tariffs and have never had any problems in the past, changing tariffs as they expired.
When it comes to complaints, EDF received the most complaints of all the suppliers in our survey. It received 2,562 complaints per 100,000 customer accounts, according to the most recent data published by the energy regulator Ofgem – well above the industry average of 1,578.
Appalling customer service and the team that respond to trust pilot reviews are just as bad. It is an automated system and totally fobbed off by sending sporadic texts claiming that my issue is being investigated.
EDF common complaints In our customer survey, 4% of respondents said they contacted EDF to make a complaint in the past year. Of the customers who made a complaint to EDF, the highest proportion (26%) complained about an incorrect bill or statement.
