24 mar 2016 · When I try to set a photo for my background, it will not take. It continues to use a black background. I go to the Background tab under Personalization and select Picture, then Browse>select photo. It never goes through and always reverts to Solid Color. It won't use any of the built-in photos, either. I can't see a Save function or Apply.

8 maj 2024 · On Windows, you can change the desktop wallpaper with a few simple steps and set up a slideshow to keep things fresh. Try renaming the TranscodedWallpaper file on Windows to fix the issue....
9 mar 2019 · If the issue has been caused due to recent Windows update - I would suggest that you uninstall the latest KB update and hide it so that it doesn't install it automatically and wait for new update to come which will be installed automatically.
