Remove the oil filter from the cap and discard. Clean the oil filter housing in the engine block. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices. Install the oil pan drain plug. Tighten: Tighten the oil pan drain plug to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
