11 paź 2024 · I was recently given a Wii U black 32GB console which seems to have the BLOD. When powered on the DVD drive cycles and the fan spins, the red light turns blue but it just flashes constantly and there is no video output to HDMI or component.

15 sty 2013 · The Wii U's light just kept blinking blue. I tried all the usual things, like disconnecting the power for 15 seconds, and I even tried a different HDMI cable and my Wii's component cable....
10 sie 2015 · My one was blinking light only at power on, no disk sounds or conecting to controller...cost £54 due to hardware fault...the console had never been opend.
20 wrz 2017 · When power is connected to the console it shows a solid red light, when the power button is pressed the DVD drive cycles and the LED flashes blue (no pattern, just continuous flashing). There is no video output on HDMI or component, I don't have the gamepad but others report the console loses connection to the gamepad when it happens.
22 kwi 2016 · I've had my Wii U since 2012, and the other day it gave me the BLOD without warning. It only gives me a blue blinking light. I tried unplugging it for hours to make sure all the charges were out of it and it wasn't overheated, and I tried to clean the vents a little bit. But it didn't help.
13 kwi 2023 · Blue Light of Death Help. I've been seeing headlines all over the internet about how if you don't use your Wii U for a while, it becomes bricked. I wanted to test mine to make sure it was ok and it would not turn on. It does not have any output and is stuck on a blinking blue light once turned on.
