12 cze 2012 · Whatever problems EBC (may) have had in the past seem to be just that now, in the past. Compared to OEM it felt like an F-14 stopping on a carrier arrestor wire! Unfortunately this did highlight the fact that the standard S3 suspension is a bit bouncy, the front dips somewhat noticably!
The answer to this question depends on your style of driving since driving at high speeds is going to wear out the brake pads and rotors faster. However, EBC Brake products can last for years if you are not driving aggressively and if you perform regular maintenance checks.
10 wrz 2018 · Re: REDSTUFF EBC Brake pads opinions? I use EBC Greenstuff pads on my car, much better than OE for stopping power, less dust, no noise and dust is easier to clean off your wheels. These are street pads though, they don't possess the longevity for track use.
20 mar 2008 · I just got a front brake pad change with Akebono ProACTs. I'm not considering buying them again. For their purpose they might be good pads (low noise low dust) but I don't want pads that have FF rating while my OEM pads have FG rating.

1 lis 2009 · I ordered the EBC plain rotors and the Ultimax pads. Turns out the pads had an issue but EBC customer was very quick to respond. They are out of that Ultimax pad so they are sending Greenstuff instead.
